Multiple Program Options

USC's online Master’s of Social Work program offers the following options to allow students to earn their degree in a format that suits their needs.



For students who have a CSWE-Accredited Bachelor of Social Work, the advanced standing program allows candidates to complete the MSW@USC program in as little as one year.



The traditional MSW@USC program is 60 credits and can be completed in as little as two years as a full-time student.

The Online Experience

MSW@USC’s program features live, online classes designed to encourage conversation and collaboration. Between live class discussions, students complete video case studies, readings, and research based on real-world applications.
