The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) School of Social Work offers a distance-delivered Master of Social Work (MSW) program with an Advanced Generalist concentration. UAA offers both a full MSW pathway and an advanced standing pathway. The full MSW program includes generalist and advanced generalist coursework and requires up to 61 credits. The advanced standing pathway allows eligible students with a qualifying BSW to waive most of the generalist curriculum and complete the advanced generalist curriculum.
